Look @ Me was released in the United States on DVD on September 12th, 2006. It is currently available to rent at all Blockbuster stores. In The United Kingdom this movie was released under the title Murder Dot Com.
Look @ Me. This movie was made on a total budget of $43,000. It was shot in 22 days in March/April of 2005. The location of Robert's house was an old Military housing complex in Los Verdes, California. The basement of the house where Tina gets locked up was actually two side by side garages. We placed a door between the garages and a false wall at the bottom of the staircase to give it the look of a basement. This movie was shot on the DVX100a. We had a very small crew for the entire shoot. We ended up cutting the entire B story from the film. It was a family that lived down the street from Tina, and focused on the relationship between Tina and the thirteen year old daughter, played by Taylor Anderson. The mother, played by Sophia Trone, hates Tina for what she represents and the influence she is having on her daughter, but also because her husband, played by Alan Waserman, used to be a subscriber to Tina's website. When it was all said and done, we realized that the only purpose the family provided to the main story was to find and decipher the cryptic email that Tina was able to send to her subscribers. We then re-wrote and shot a scene with the cyberfreak, played by Ronnie Gene Blevins, who was the person who deciphered the clue in the email.
